Graphic Design: A love story
My relationship with graphic design has been anything but straightforward—a situationship that was first developed at Penn State. But the call of adventure was too strong to ignore, and so I told design, "It's not you, it's me." I spent the next eight years exploring the world through Outdoor Education and Adventure Recreation, learning leadership, adaptability, and resilience. Over those years, I grew in countless ways, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.
When I was ready to reconnect, graphic design welcomed me back with open arms. Enter Savannah College of Art and Design: the meet-cute that rekindled my creative spark and swept me off my feet. It quickly became clear that I loved design and was ready to fully commit to a creative career.
Here we are, years later. Design and I are thriving—a dynamic partnership fueled by authenticity, creativity, and a passion for crafting meaningful work. So cheers, design. Here’s to many more years of fonts, grids, and vectors!
